We are seeking a talented and motivated mid-level DevOps Engineer with a strong focus on
Kubernetes, cloud-based infrastructure, and CI/CD automation. While experience with Google
Cloud Platform (GCP) is preferred, candidates with skills in other cloud providers are
encouraged to apply. This role will involve deploying, managing, and optimizing containerized
applications and serverless services, building CI/CD pipelines, and collaborating with
cross-functional teams to ensure scalable, secure, and reliable cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Kubernetes & Cluster Management:
○ Deploy, configure, and manage Kubernetes clusters on cloud platforms
(preferably Google Kubernetes Engine or similar).
○ Optimize and scale Kubernetes clusters by configuring autoscaling, load
balancing, and resource utilization for cost-effective performance. - Serverless Application Management:
○ Deploy and manage containerized serverless applications, preferably on Google
Cloud Run or similar services on AWS, Azure, etc.
○ Configure and optimize serverless applications for scalability and performance. - CI/CD Pipeline Automation:
○ Design and manage CI/CD pipelines using tools like Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or
Jenkins to support rapid deployment on Kubernetes and serverless platforms.
○ Implement automated build, test, and deployment workflows with a focus on
efficiency and security. - Monitoring, Logging, and Incident Management:
○ Set up monitoring and logging solutions (e.g., Google Cloud Monitoring and
Logging, AWS CloudWatch, Azure Monitor, or Prometheus and Grafana).
○ Establish alerting systems to proactively detect issues and maintain high service
availability. - Security and Compliance:
○ Apply security best practices across Kubernetes clusters, cloud services, and
CI/CD pipelines, including IAM, network policies, and secrets management.
○ Ensure compliance with organizational policies and industry standards within
cloud environments. - Collaboration and Support:
○ Partner with development and operations teams to understand application
requirements and provide support for production and pre-production
environments.
○ Offer guidance on cloud-native best practices and provide troubleshooting
assistance for infrastructure and CI/CD issues.
Qualifications:
● Experience: 4-5 years in DevOps or a related role, with experience in Kubernetes,
serverless applications, and CI/CD pipelines.
Skills:
● Technical Skills:
○ Proficiency with Kubernetes and experience managing clusters on any major
cloud platform (e.g., GKE, EKS, AKS).
○ Hands-on experience with a major cloud provider, with a preference for Google
Cloud Platform (GCP).
○ Strong understanding of CI/CD principles and experience with CI/CD tools like
Google Cloud Build, GitLab CI, or Jenkins.
○ Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or a similar language.
○ Familiarity with monitoring and logging solutions, preferably Google Cloud
Logging and Monitoring or equivalent tools.
